AMERICAN GALLERY - 20th Century 
My late husband, Alexander Lester Kreger, was Roger’s neighbor in Monterey Park, CA around 1958-1963. Roger sold 3 paintings to Al in 1961. They are very large egg tempura. Roger and his wife tracked us down in Palm Desert, CA and called to ask if they could take pictures of our art work because he wanted to include our paintings in his portfolio. The paintings still have a place of honor in my home and they brought great joy over the years to both my husband and me along our friends and family.
I would love to talk to his son Thomas or anyone in the family that could provide me with with a link to share our paintings if the family does not have them. One is a man in a hat, a woman with a flower bonnet and an old man with a toothless smile.
They are signed, titled, framed and dated by Roger Medearis on the lower left (medearis 1961) and on the back.

I purchased 2 lithos “The Fallen Pine) hand colored, I have #4/125 and an artist proof. I also have a black and white “The Fallen Pine” I have no idea what number it is , I too love the pieces and look at them often, I met Roger a couple of times at his home in San Marino, I lived in Eagle Rock at the time, and he showed me his technique. I met him at my restaurant “Camille’s” in Sherman Oaks, Calif he and his wife and another couple came out for dinner one evening. I had a poster of his that he did for the National Park services, he signed the 6 copies of prints I purchased.
