I saw where you recently posted a number of paintings by Armenian-American artist Ludwig Mactarian. I’m working on a project about the mural he painted for a post office in Arkansas. However, there doesn’t seem to be any kind of drawing, painting or photograph of him. Have you discovered one in your searches? (P.S. I love what you’ve posted on this site.)

Can the Army confirm there are other Ludwig Mactarian paintings and sketches available?
This work only seems to be from his time in Italy. Someone with more military bearings could trace Ludwig’s path through Italy based on his paintings and the amount of work performed in each painting. Is the bridge in rome done? looks like their just STARTING to clear the bay.
WHERE did his unit end their tour of duty? Did they just stop in Italy?
Did they get any time in Germany? France? Did Luther stop painting after his trip to Italy?
SEEMS LIKE SOME ARTWORK IS MISSING FROM HIS COLLECTION.
