Subtly ironic and funny. Usually, artists are considered temperamentally morose and intractable, but sometimes they know to be very ironic and humorous with themselves and the profession they are doing, as in the case of works of Lester J. Ambrose. This is a clear demonstration that art can be an effective means to express various moods of the person.
