I would like to get some information reguarding these paintings. After alot of serching ive discovered that Joseph D. Westerfield is my great grandfather. This is super exciting consitering i have been an artist my whole life and have made a career out of it. Anyways please contact me if possible!

My name is Mike Crandall I was a friend of Joseph’s up in till the time he disappeared! I spent years looking for him after he disappeared mysteriously only to find that he had been located in a hospital and put into a home due to a severe head injury. I knew his daughter was a child when we met I don’t think she would be your grandmother and she would not be old enough so you may will be a child from a previous marriage which knowing Joseph would not be at all out of the question. I also met his twin brother

I treated an artist named Joe Westerfield in a NY rehabilitation hospital in the 70s…..could this be the same man???

Yes it is the same Westerfield that you treated in the hospital I was a good friend of his and spent many years searching for him after he disappeared mysteriously it wasn’t until many years later that I found that he had been located in a hospital with severe head injuries and no memory and probably spent the rest of his days in a home You can contact me at mulinerix@yahoo.com if you would like any further information
